HOW ECOBALES WORK
The high tensile and tear strength helps reduce wave energy along high energy corridors of shoreline. EcoBale’s open cell structure provides for sediment retention, and it also effective at creating a visible protective boundary for exposed pipelines. EcoBale design calculations presume that EcoBale will persist in a high energy environment such as a Category II or III hurricane.
